Anvil International Acquires Megawatt Machine Services, LLC.
Exeter, N.H., (Jan 8, 2019) – Anvil International, a leading North American manufacturer and supplier of products that connect, hang and support piping systems has announced it has acquired Megawatt Machine Services, LLC, of Somerset, NJ. Megawatt Machine Services provides maintenance services and replacement components for valves used in power plant, oil and gas and chemical plant applications.
“Megawatt is an excellent growth opportunity for Anvil. Their valve repair business brings new solutions to our customers in the power and industrial markets,” said Tom Fish, CEO of Anvil International. “Megawatt’s complete project support for severe-service valve repair tie in well with Anvil’s Engineered Pipe Supports (EPS) business in North Kingstown, RI.”
Rick Laviolette, VP & General Manager of Anvil EPS, will assume overall responsibilities for the Megawatt business and will partner with their management team to expand our presence and offerings in the power generation, oil and gas, and chemical industries.
